CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The Ladies of Charity-San Jose Chapter got together Thursday to "nourish to good health" some 149 students of San Jose Panlumacan Elementary School.
The ladies were led by Puring Bamba, the Rotary Club of Central Pampanga spearheaded by its President Ric Yabut, and Quota International.

According to "feeding program lady" Puring Bamba, this is the eighth feeding program her group has conducted in a series that started during her birth month last August.
"I normally do this during my birth month but for this time, the school officials here had personally requested for the feeding program. We cannot turn our backs on them especially if the need is about health and nutrition of children," she told Sun.Star Pampanga.
She said that in their feeding programs, nutritious food, not just ordinary noodles, is served the school children.
She added that most of the school children in that school are orphans and many are underweight and lack good nutrition.
"That is why we are always on the outlook for things like these in our outreach missions. And I thank our friends from Quota, Rotary and Ladies of Charity for helping us nourish our school children and needy kids," Bamba said.
