ANGELES CITY -- A 42-year-old lesbian is now languishing in jail after allegedly kidnapping the daughter of her former live-in partner.
Angeles Police-Station 4 chief Rene Aspe said Eva Morales, a native of Butuan City, was also accused by her lover Cecilia Orazon of taking her cash and jewelries.

In her complaint, Orazon said that upon returning home from work recently, she discovered that her daughter three-year-old Channa was missing, along with P15,000 worth of jewelries and cash.
Orazon said she received a call from Morales informing her that if she wants her daughter back, she should meet her in Butuan City and pay her P50,000.
According to Aspe, his men led by Inspector Mauro Mallari accompanied Orazon to Butuan City to arrest the suspect.
However, upon reaching Butuan City, the suspect called Orazon and told her that they will meet instead at the Manila Domestic Airport.
Orazon and the policemen immediately flew to Manila. While she and Morales were talking, the policemen arrested the suspect.
The suspect was brought back to this city where she was charged with Kidnapping in relation to violation of Republic Act 7610 and Qualified Theft.
The Angeles City Prosecutor's Office has recommended her continuous detention. (JAM)
