The Central Luzon arm of Dole received the award during the 111th anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service in Manila, winning over level 1 field offices of the National Capital Region, Calabarzon, Western and Central Visayas.
The Dole in Central Luzon was awarded for its exemplary performance in serving the Filipino workforce in the region in 2010 under the leadership tandem of then Regional Director Ernesto Bihis and then OIC-Assistant Regional Director (now current OIC-Regional Director) Leopoldo De Jesus.
According to the Dole’s Human Resource Development Services (HRDS), the citation was based on the analysis of the overall performance of the regional offices focusing on its physical and financial performances.
Dole-CL got an overall ranking of 4.52 OPI based on the national labor agency’s Organizational Performance Indicator Framework (OPIF), the highest among the 16 regional offices nationwide.

Former Dole-Central Luzon regional director Bihis expressed his gratitude to the Dole national desk for recognizing the valued efforts of the regional staff in empowering the workers of Central Luzon in landing sustainable jobs and livelihood.
Meanwhile, current Dole Regional Director De Jesus likewise thanked the agency, adding that the recognition would serve as a challenge for the Central Luzon field office to continue working hard if not at par, surpass this latest achievement.
The annual awarding was attended by Dole officials, middle management, and rank-and-file personnel of the different bureaus, offices, services, attached agencies, and regional offices of the labor agency in Intramuros, Manila on September 21.
