In Pampanga, the newest and biggest food park just opened, spicing the local food scene in Angeles City. All hail The Muceno Food Park, home to 26 unique food concessionaires that serve everything from local comfort food to international cuisines from all over the globe.
Owner Bernie Nepomuceno shares that he and his three partners have envisioned bringing the food park concept to his hometown and for his kabalens.
“We know that food parks have been a trend in Manila and it keeps booming. So we thought of bringing it here in Pampanga, particularly in Angeles City, known as the Culinary Capital of the Philippines. Also, we all know that every Kapampangan is a foodie, so we just want to contribute to that notion,” he said.
He noted that The Muceno sets itself apart from other food parks as all the tenants were hand-picked and one-of-a-kind.
“Everything is delicious here. We made sure that each of our tenants serves something fresh, out of the box, and of course delectable and affordable—something you can’t find anywhere else,” he said.
Co-owner Ram Morales quipped that aside from homegrown brands, the food park also brings in other popular and unique food brands from the Metro.
“One thing we take pride of is that we’re able to bring in some brands from Manila. One good example is Pomodoro Pizza, Nitro 7, and Tokyo Tempura. These well-acclaimed brands were able to see that the market in Angeles is really thriving, and we’re really happy that Angelenos were able to deliver the market that they expect,” he shared.
Since it opened its doors last February, The Muceno has instantly become a hit and has become a top must-visit dining destination in the area. It features an extensive open-air complex with a deck area that can accommodate up to 300 diners.
Not only does it provide you more food choices within an arm’s length, but the vibe in the place is also unmatched. It stands out as the first food park in the province where diners can enjoy local bands from Mondays to Fridays and acoustic jamming sessions during the weekend.

When visiting The Muceno, be prepared because you’re bound to get tempted to try as much as you can in one sitting! From Pinoy, Mexican, Arabian, and Japanese favorites, to appetizing finger foods and indulging desserts, the newest food park in this side of the nation definitely has it all.
