WITH Mayor Leonora Wong at the helm, San Simon Pampanga is on its way to aggressive development.

Simply known as Mayor Wong (Woman of the New Generation), she is giving her hometown a facelift especially in terms of economic and tourism growth.

She doesn't stop planning and implementing projects to realize her dream.

Right at the San Simon entrance, there is already a trading and activity area. It is called San Simon Trade Expo. More than a hundred retail stores sell RTW, beauty products, foodstuff and a lot of other goodies. In line with the expo are marketing activities like talent search competitions, concerts and other enticing activities.

This is of course with the help of a visionary businessman, Louie Gamboa.

Gamboa heads and owns a beauty pharmaceutical company that manufactures and markets Erase Placenta and Erase Solution. With the help of Gamboa, San Simon is getting tourism attraction because of UK Resort & Leisure Park which he also owns. The place has three swimming pools, Jacuzzis, air-conditioned rooms, open air cottages and other amenities suitable for relaxation and corporate activities. The place is also designed to accommodate private gatherings.

To introduce the place, UK is sponsoring and producing a band concert starred in no less by a rock/pop group called Calla Lily. The public is invited to grace the event on November 26, at 5 p.m.

Shuttle buses will be available in front of the municipal hall along MacArthur Highway to accommodate interested audiences.

All these and more to put San Simon at the map of Philippine tourist spots.

Come and visit San Simon and make sure to stop and enjoy the beauty of UK City Paradise. (PR)
