CLARK FREEPORT -- The Municipality of Porac joined Wednesday other Pampanga towns and two cities in getting their Seal of Good Housekeeping from the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).
DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo handed the seal and conferred the medal of excellence to Dela Cruz, who was accompanied by Vice Mayor Dexter David, Municipal Council members and second district Board Member Olga Frances David-Dizon at Oxford Hotel in this Freeport.
The municipality was also awarded P1 million as Performance Challenge Fund in recognition of its exemplary performance in governance, transparency and accountability.
“We are very happy and proud to receive the Seal of Good Housekeeping as this proves that the Municipal Government of Porac - both the executive and legislative branches - is on the right track of providing the necessary service to our constituents. The P1-million Performance Challenge Fund will be of great help to our projects,” Dela Cruz told Sun.Star Pampanga. (Jovi T. De Leon)
