Accountants institute bags outstanding award-A A +A

THE Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (Picpa) conferred Picpa-Pampanga Chapter with the Outstanding Chapter Award for the latter’s remarkable accomplishments during the 66th Picpa Annual National Convention at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center, Olongapo City.
These accomplishments during the fiscal year July 01, 2010 to June 30, 2011, have contributed significantly to the enhancement of Picpa and to the betterment of its members, through a conscious effort to work in unity towards the fulfillment of Picpa’s 2010-2011 theme: “Picpa… Reaching Out”, according to Picpa chapter president Purificacion P. Flores.
Flores received the award from Victor Lorenzo A. Tato, chair, committee on geographical areas, regions and affiliates; Jose C. Cabalum, Jr., chairman, committee on awards; and Josefina G. Chua, Picpa national president. The chapter also received a special award for its significant growth in membership by 25 percent for the year 2010-2011 and for its conscientious dedication to work for membership development for the said fiscal year.

Pabustan (public relations officer), Eda M. Panganiban (business manager), Rowena A. Reyes (director-public practice), Rosalinda E. Perez (director-education), Alfie M. Adriano (director-commerce and industry), Clafel M. Vendiola (director-government), and Ligaya T. David (IPP/Ex-Officio Director). (PR)
