CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Mayor Arturo Naguit of Minalin and Mayor Oscar Rodriguez of the City of San Fernando lauded and congratulated Monday officials and volunteers as well as partner groups of the Kapampangan Development Foundation (KDF) for its projects and efforts in assisting indigents.

During the celebration of KDF’s 25th anniversary at Heroes Hall in this city, Naguit said KDF has been extending medical help to a lot of Minaleños and Kapampangans in general.

“I wish to thank the KDF for helping the poor in their medical needs. For many years, I have been referring a lot of patients to them from prosthesis to cataract operation and they have all been, until now, being accommodated by the foundation. That is why I have been actively supporting KDF,” Naguit told Sun.Star Pampanga.

Rodriguez, for his part, said the KDF makes him proud to be a Kapampangan.

“Maganda ang layunin ng KDF and it continues to make that big difference. The foundation makes me feel proud to be a Kapampangan because of its priceless missions and medical projects. Anytime the KDF will need a partner -- like the use of Heroes Hall for its activities -- the City Government is always here,” said Rodriguez.

To symbolically mark its silver anniversary, the KDF that night distributed prosthesis to 25 patients. (Jovi T. De Leon)
