CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Governor Lilia Pineda vowed on Wednesday to assist the Pampanga police in improving their respective stations.
In an afternoon conference at Capitol’s Executive House, the 22 Pampanga chiefs of police led by Provincial Director Edgardo Tinio presented to the governor the state of their police stations, which need major repairs ranging from repainting, roofing and improvement of comfort rooms, cells and other civil works.

“We are appealing to you on bended knees,” the officers told the governor.
“I understand your concerns. Sa aking nakita sa presentation ninyo, ipapa-repair natin ang mga police stations ninyo simultaneously,” said Pineda, who was met with applause from the officers on the statements.
The governor added that the necessary aid -- depending on Capitol’s budget -- would allow the police to serve better and protect Kapampangans as mandated.
She also urged police to use wisely the resources coming from Capitol and to avail of their benefits like PhilHealth, which the Provincial Government has facilitated.
