Power cooperative directors retain posts

MEXICO -- Two Pampanga Electric Cooperative (Pelco 1) directors ran unopposed and will serve anew the consumer-members from 2012 to 2014.
Mexico Director Oscar Manalo and Candaba Director Nicomedes Pelayo needed only 100 votes each to be proclaimed winners in the Pelco 1 elections.

Consumer-members get to free cast their votes in secret balloting, which is supervised by an independent commission on elections.
Manalo, from Laug, this town, is on his second term while Pelayo, who hails from Paralaya in Candaba, is on his third and last term.
