Guv wants police stations rehabilitated

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Governor Lilia Pineda has directed the Provincial Engineer's Office (PEO) to rehabilitate dilapidated police stations in the province.
The governor ordered the PEO to assess the actual situation of the stations and start the rehabilitation immediately, if needed.

Pineda, in a meeting with Philippine National Police (PNP) Provincial Director Edgardo Tinion and all municipal police chiefs in the province, assured that the Provincial Government remains firm in its commitment to support the PNP in its maintenance of peace and order.
The governor said the Provincial Government will shoulder all the expenses needed for repair of the police headquarters.
In the past years, Pineda provided motorcycles, tricycles including cell phones to the several police stations to further enhance their monitoring and surveillance capabilities. (Herbert P. Mapiles)
