“Recognizing the individuals who made a significant impact in our beloved city reflects our belief that indeed, we are a habitat of human excellence. Itong Tofa ay ginagawa natin taon-taon upang bigyang parangal ang mga Fernandinong tapat at hindi makasariling naglilingkod sa kanyang kapwa. May they continue to be role models for others and the generations to come,” said Mayor Oscar Rodriguez in an interview with Sun.Star Pampanga.
“They [awardees] unceasingly provide inspiration and encouragement for others to emulate even if they come from various agencies and organizations. They are living testaments to the excellence not just of Fernandinos, but of the entire Kapampangan race. Theirs was no mean feat,” he added.
