Estrellita Lecaros, principal of the ACNHS, said the students were quickly led to safety as firefighters tackled the blaze at the second floor of the school building.
Immediately after receiving the news about the incident, Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan visited ACNHS to personally oversee and assess the damage caused by the fire.
Pamintuan instructed his staff to provide makeshift tents inside the school so that classes for graduating students could resume after clearing the area of fire debris.
He told school officials that the Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce Inc.–Angeles City Chapter pledged to finance the repair of the gutted classrooms.
Lecaros thanked the mayor for his immediate response and concern for the school and its students.
