Students lauded for tourism, culture development efforts

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Board Member Nestor Tolentino lauded and threw his support to a batch of university students for their efforts to promote Kapampangan culture and tourism.
Tolentino congratulated the tourism students for their “young aspirations to help in the promotion and cultivation of Kapampangan culture, as well as tourism development, which has continuously growing province-wide.”

“Definitely your objectives are worth noting. You will be a big help in our tourism development and culture preservation campaigns. Pampanga has much to offer in terms of heritage and tourism, especially now that we have the Nabuclod zipline, unique festivals, wetland cruise and many other tourist destinations Governor Lilia Pineda is developing,” Tolentino told the students.
For their part, representatives of the UA tourism class told the board member that their project, which reeled-off the afternoon of the same day, was aptly dubbed “Fiestahan, Katahan, Terakan! Makisanmetung at Makyabe Kareng Estudyanteng Turismung Kapampangan.”
The students said the main objective of the program is to create awareness on the greatness of Kapampangan culture and tourism, as well as its songs, dances and cuisine.
