“Basta mayroong PhilHealth, lalabas kayo ng hospital na wala kayong babayaran (As long as you have PhilHealth cards, you need not pay hospital fees),” Pineda told the police.
Senior Superintendent Edgardo Tinio, provincial police director, sees this as a positive development that will further boost the morale of the police in the performance of their duties.
“Natutuwa po kami dahil tinitignan din ng ating gobernadora ang kapakanan ng ating kapulisan. Malaking tulong po ito para sa amin para lalo pa naming pag ibayuhin ang pagpapanatili ng ating katahimikan sa ating probinsiya (We are glad that the governor is looking at our needs. This is a big help for us),” Tinio added.
Meanwhile, during the celebration, several individuals were given recognition for their valuable contribution that led to the attainment of PNP’s objectives.
Among the awardees were Governor Lilia Pineda, Porac Vice Mayor Dexter Dizon, Maricar Pangilinan, Rodelio Naguit and Rosque Marcelo.
