ARAYAT -- A military official based in this town last Monday reminded residents of Barangay San Juan Bano here to be more vigilant in order not to become victims of another possible landslide in Mt. Arayat.
Colonel Gregorio Pio Catapang, commander of the Army's 703rd Infantry Brigade, said proper preparations before rainy days could prevent loss of lives and properties during calamities.

Catapang likewise warned “kaingeros" to stop burning trees in the mountain. The same, he believes, could contribute to another landslide.
