The ballroom party was organized by the Municipal Government through the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs.
Manabat said the activity was mobilized to keep the senior citizens fit and active through ballroom lessons being taught by some accredited dance instructors commissioned by the municipality.
"This also provides opportunities for the elderly to establish cultural connections through socialization with other senior citizens' groups in the town," he added.
Meanwhile, Myline Biccay, Candaba municipal social welfare development officer, said the municipality plans to bring the activity in some other places such as Bahay Pare and Salapungan.
