10 Kapampangan graduate from police academy

CAMP OLIVAS – Ten Kapampangans, who are members of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) Sinag-Tala Class 2012, were recently given recognition in a ceremony here.
The new officers who graduated last March are Inspectors Mary P Gallano, Mark Donald G. Mangune, Marcelino R. Gavina, Rowell M. Saludez, Mark Allan P. Dungca, Jefferson L. Balindan, Gerald L. Quiambao, Arvin E. Hosmillo, Eduardo V. Timbol Jr. and Merben S. Laborera.
For the record, Sinag-Tala Class 2012 holds the most number of Pampangueño graduates.
Guest of honor and speaker Senior Superintendent Walter E Castillejos, chief of the Regional Police Community Relations Division and president of the PNPA Alumni Association Inc. Central Luzon chapter, warmly welcomed the officers who will soon be assigned in different parts of the country.
From the 278 cadets who entered the academy last April 18, 2008, only 220 survived the training and graduated on March 24 with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Public Safety and a rank of Police Inspector. (Marna Dagumboy-del Rosario)
