No. 1 most wanted in Mexico arrested

CAMP OLIVAS -- Mexico town’s most wanted person, Fernando Dela Cruz alias “Popong Fernan,” has fallen into the hands of the police.

According to reports, elements of the Mexico Municipal Police Station (MPS) have been conducting surveillance and monitoring in Barangay Buenavista of the said town where the suspect was recently spotted.

Over the weekend, a tracker team sighted the accused at the said barangay and informed the Mexico MPS about the pursuit.


The police then proceeded to Barangay Buenavista, where an operation was conducted resulting in the arrest of Dela Cruz.

The arrest was made by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Ofelia Tuazon Pinto of Regional Trial Court Branch 60 in Angeles City with no bail recommended.

The accused is now detained at the Mexico MPS. (Marna del Rosario)
