CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Regional Director Teofilo Inocencio on Wednesday assured farmers in Pampanga of their “just share” on agricultural benefits from the government.
He is referring to the joint effort of DAR, Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), and other allied agencies to provide intensified support services to the farmers in the province.
Included in the support services to be given are farm mechanization, farm-to-market roads and bridges, livelihood including livestock, and other technical assistance.
He said after the land distribution aspect of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP), the farmers need to be given all-out support to maximize the potentials of the lands given to them.
( Herbert P. Mapiles)
