Capitol gives financial aid to 51 villages

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The Provincial Government has provided financial assistance to at least 51 villages in Macabebe and Masantol towns, amounting to P255,000, for disaster preparation and other related activities.
The awarding of checks was spearheaded by Governor Lilia Pineda in two separate simple ceremonies attended by municipal and village officials the other day.
They were received by the Association Barangay Captains (ABC) presidents in behalf of their members.
The villages in the town of Macabebe got a total share of P125,000 while those in Masantol received P130,000.
As this developed, the village chieftains expressed their gratitude to Governor Pineda for her continuing support and assistance to the flood-affected families.
The financial assistance shall also be used in monitoring and assessment activities relating to disaster preparation and mitigation efforts.
