Mayor to detractors: Examine your track records

STO. TOMAS – Mayor Joselito Naguit told his detractors they should first examine their track records in public service before putting shame into his administration.
Naguit said major improvements in terms of infrastructure have been introduced in the town since he started serving as municipal chief executive.
Naguit noted that one of his detractors, Ninong Ronquillo, who is believed to be eyeing the mayoralty position in 2013, has already served as mayor but failed to improve the town in general.
Ronquillo is the husband of the current vice mayor.
The mayor also told Sun.Star Pampanga in a previous phone interview that many out-of-school youths here were given opportunities to pursue their education after availing themselves of the scholarship program.
Among other projects under Naguit’s watch were the street lighting of the national, provincial and barangay roads; establishment of the municipal annex building; and the construction of rural health units.
