AUF conquers Philippine Culinary Cup ’12

ANGELES CITY -- The BS Hotel and Restaurant Management faculty and students of Angeles University Foundation (AUF) bagged 13 major awards in the recently concluded 2012 Philippine Culinary Cup (PCC) held at the SMX Convention Center.

AUF President Joseph Emmanuel L. Angeles identified the winning AUF faculty and students as Heinz Pelayo (Gold Medal, Pasta and Bronze Medal, Plated Desserts); Maria Cecilia C. Park (Bronze Medal, Pasta); Alexius Jason T. Del Rosario and Jaysen S. Venzon (Bronze Medal, Sous Vide); Alexius Jason T. Del Rosario, Howard D. Dizon and Harold Van A. Aquino (Bronze Medal, Dream Team Challenge); Howard D. Dizon, Angelica Alyssa S. Dizon and Francis Patrick L. Dimaranan (Bronze Medal, Filipino Cuisine Challenge); Christine Joy R. Buan (Bronze Medal, Local Fish or Seafood); John Michael D. Zamora (Bronze Medal, US Pork); Jean Marie G. Baluyut and Katrina R. Maglalang (Bronze Medal, US Poultry);Jemimah R. Vitug (Bronze Medal, Beef); Francis Raymond S. Dimaranan, Ariel Jansen N. Salanga, Kelvin R. Patawaran, and Danny Con M. Susi (Bronze Medal, Young Chefs Team Challenge).

Now on its third year, the PCC takes on an even bigger role in providing the Filipino chefs an internationally-recognized platform to hone their skills and showcase their talents in the culinary field.

A collaboration of the Les Toques Blanches Philippines, the Pastry Alliance of the Philippines and Premier Events Plus Group Inc., it is a successful partnership that has clearly established the new standards in Philippine culinary competitions.
