CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Governor Lilia Pineda called on all officials and Kapampangans to work together in the true tradition of the “bayanihan” spirit amid efforts to rehabilitate and fast-track damaged infrastructure in areas ravaged by floods in the aftermath of the southwest monsoon.
After attending the meeting of the Regional Development Council at Party Place along MacArthur Highway in Barangay Dolores, this city, the governor said: “Kailangan, lahat tulong-tulong sa ginagawa nating rehabilitation efforts.
She said the Capitol is in no rush in finding long-term solutions but concerns like remedial or palliative measures for damaged anti-flood structure like the San Fernando-Sto. Tomas-Minalin Tail Dike must be immediately implemented in the wake of expected rains in the future.
She noted, however, that the Provincial Government will continue on its current moves in rehabilitation.
Sana lahat ay makipagtulungan,” said the governor. (Jovi T. De Leon)
