Another cabalen in CSC PagAsa roster

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Another Kapampangan government executive will join City of San Fernando Public Employment Services Office manager Donny Sayre in Malacañang on September 19 to receive the Civil Service Commission (CSC) PagAsa award.
Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) chief administrative officer Maribel Blanco, the wife of Bacolor Councilor and Pampanga Mayors League secretary Steekie Blanco, have been named in the PagAsa award roster during the Search for the 2012 Outstanding Public Officials and Employees, a highlight of the commission’s 112th anniversary.
The recognition ceremonies for Blanco, Sayre and four other awardees were held Monday afternoon at the Ninoy Aquino Amphitheater of Heroes Hall.
According to CSC Regional information officer Diana Henson, Blanco was cited for initiating and leading the preparation of several customized and appropriate guidelines and procedures in the operations of the regional social welfare office, including innovative procurement processes, monitoring tool and reporting matrix and receipt and utilization of donations, among others.
Blanco was also recognized for her concept programs to strengthen integrity, transparency, and accountability.
With Blanco and Sayre in the PagAsa roster of awardees from Region III are Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority public relations officer Marilou Dungog, National Irrigation Administration Upper Pampanga River Integrated Irrigation Systems acting operations manager Engr. Josephine Salazar, the Orani Water District Operation and Management Excellence Team and the Balanga City Agriculture Office.
