CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The newly installed police provincial director will be starting his tour of duty with a series of dialogues with various chiefs of police and other personnel in uniform in the province's 4th district.
Sr. Supt. R’win Sta. Ana Pagkalinawan will visit today the towns of San Luis, San Simon and Candaba to personally meet the local police who are in the frontline in anti-criminality efforts.
Pagkalinawan has formally assumed as provincial police director last Monday in a simple ceremony held at the Provincial Police Office (PPO) in this city.
He has replaced Sr. Supt. Edgardo Tinio, who is now assigned at the Highway Patrol Group in Camp Crame as the chief of the Office of the Directorial Staff.
Candaba town’s chief of police Henry Flores said they are expecting Pagkalinawan and his group to arrive early today.
He claimed that the new provincial police chief is set to be given instructions on immediate concerns involving the peace and order program in the province.
Flores added that they are happy because Candaba is among the first towns visited by Pagkalinawan.
