Board member gives financial aid to students

MINALIN -- Barangay Federation President and Board Member Melchor Pingul led Wednesday the distribution of financial assistance to some 50 students from this town.

The distribution was held at the Provincial Board’s session hall, witnessed by some parents and relatives of the student-beneficiaries.

Pingul said the financial assistance was realized through the effort of Governor Lilia Pineda, who prioritizes the educational needs of the Kapampangans in the form of scholarship programs.

“Madagul a bage ini kareng kekatamung estudyante lalu kareng pengari na magsikap para king pamagaral da reng karelang anak,” he said.

The board member also thanked Governor Lilia Pineda for continuously looking into the needs of the people in Minalin.

“Pasalamat tamu kang Nanay uling tuluy-tuluy ing bibye ng saup kareng kekatamung memalen ampo kareng estudyante. Dakal mu naman linub proyekto kapamilatan na ning gobernadora tamu,” he added.

Leenn Angelica Quito, an information technology student and one of the beneficiaries, said the financial assistance is a big help to ensure the continuity of their studies.

“Thank you po kang Board Member Pingul uling keng saup na kekaming estudyanti. Agagamit mila reni pandagdag keng tuition fees,” she said. (Herbert P. Mapiles)
