CAMP OLIVAS -- Another gang calling itself the Bukas Kotse Gang has struck the City of San Fernando last Sunday, victimizing a businessman.
In his report, Acting Provincial Police Director R’Win Pagkalinawan identified the latest victim as Elmo Batislaong, 53, of El Rio Vista Village, Davao City, who owns a Nissan Urvan Escapade (TOZ-160) which he parked along the Jose Abad Santos Avenue in the city.
According to the report, the driver of Batislaong identified as Leomar Villanueva, 39, of Norzagaray, Bulacan, parked their van at the front of Nathaniel’s Restaurant located along JASA, Barangay Dolores of said city at about 3:45 p.m.
After taking their snack and returning to the parking area, however, the victim was surprised that a bag containing clothes, perfumes, sunglasses, Identification Cards and personal belongings was missing.
The suspects, the report said, forcibly opened the right passenger door of the van using a pick lock.
Basag Kotse incidents in the city have been rampant for the past months and police have not arrested any suspects. (Ric Sapnu)
