Rooms in Floridablanca school gutted by fire

CAMP OLIVAS – Four classrooms of the Fortuna Elementary School in Barangay Fortuna, Floridablanca town was gutted by fire over the weekend, reports said.
According to the report, the fire that gutted the school started around 4:15 p.m. and was declared under control at around 5 p.m.
Aside from the local fire station, other fire stations which responded to the fire include that of Lubao, Guagua and Basa Air Base.
According to duty fire investigator Senior Fire Officer-1 Jorge Cabusao, the fire started in the middle left room of a Grade 3 classroom and spread rapidly.
The cost of damages was placed at around P100,000.
No casualty or injuries were reported during the incident.
Police are still investigating the cause of the fire. (Ric Sapnu)
