CAMP OLIVAS – The Police Regional Office (PRO) in Central Luzon joined the Philippine National Police (PNP) in commemorating the 111th Police Service Anniversary held at the PRO Parade Grounds here last Monday.
The simple rites coincided with the traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony and the natal day of Chief Superintendent Edgardo Ladao, PRO director.
It was highlighted by the giving of recognition to deserving PNP personnel and best units in the region who have contributed vastly to the upliftment of the PNP, PRO3 in particular.
This year’s 111th police anniversary theme: “Pulis nyo po sa tuwid na daan, serbisyong may pagkukusa, maaasahan” aptly manifests the PNP’s and PRO3’s continuing partnership with the community for sustained proficiency and excellence in law enforcement towards a stable peace and order particularly in Region 3.
In his message, Ladao lauded the men and women of PRO 3 for continuously doing their jobs efficiently, while also thanking the Almighty for his gift of life.
After the ceremony, a simple program for Ladao’s birthday celebration was held at the PRO Multi-Purpose Hall which was attended by PRO Police Commissioned and Non-Commissioned Officers, non-uniformed personnel and guests. (Ric Sapnu)
