CANDABA -- Locals here expressed admiration on Tuesday for Board Member Ricardo Yabut for sacrificing his congressional ambition in favor of fellow Candabenios.
Yabut confirmed to mediamen his decision to finish his third term as board member rather than going for a three-cornered fight on the congressional seat with his friend Mayor Jerry Pelayo and former representative Rimpy Bondoc.
Padilla said that with the recent development, Mayor Pelayo now has better chances of winning against Juan Pablo Bondoc who is also eyeing for the congressional seat.
Governor Lilia Pineda lauded Board Member Yabut for his decision.
“I Board Member Yabut kailangan taya pa keni king provincial board. Metung ya kasi karing kasaup tamu lilingun king pangangailangan daring Kapampangan along Pampanga River,” Pineda said.
