CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- President Benigno Aquino III has vowed to support development programs for Pampanga and help the province rebound from the recent calamity brought about by the southwest monsoon.
“I am committed to the continued support for Pampanga and the region from which my parents came,” said Aquino, speaking before Liberal Party (LP) bets and multisectoral groups at Heroes Hall last Friday.
The President cited a list of projects and corresponding budgets that are intended for the province.
The President was also led by Mayor Oscar Rodriguez on a short tour of the City College of San Fernando building which was only recently inaugurated as part of the City’s major projects particularly on education.
The City Government had allocated some P100 million for the construction of the City College in a bid to make college education accessible to indigent students from San Fernando and nearby towns.
While on tour, Aquino also endorsed the Magsilbi Tamu Team and LP official candidates for 2013, including Edwin “EdSa” Santiago, City Mayor; Ato Agustin, City Vice Mayor; and Noel Tulabut, Joselito Ocampo, Ralph Dein Henson, Nelson Lingat, Celestino Dizon, Bernie Castro, Jacklyn Calimlim, Harvey Quiwa, Allan Patio, and Enerito Sason, all for councilor.
