CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Former senator Juan Miguel Zubiri said Tuesday that he has implemented a “One Town One Project” in the province of Pampanga.
Zubiri said he funded at least one project in every municipality in the province as requested by concerned local chief executives.
The funds came from the senator’s Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) during his stay in office.
“Mahal natin ang Pampanga. Mahal natin ang mga Kapampangan. Sa apat na probinsiya sa Central Luzon kung saan ako nakakuha ng malaking boto ay Pampanga ang pinakamataas,” he said.
Zubiri attended last Monday the blessing and inauguration of a birthing station at the Dr. Andres Luciano District Hospital in Magalang town.
He said he was invited by Governor Lilia Pineda.
It was learned that the senator also helped in the construction of the employees’ quarters inside the hospital premises.
“Nabigyan ko na kasi lahat ng mga munisipalidad kung kaya’t inalok ko in ang probinsya at ito nga ang ginawa nila. Ang ganda ng proyekto,” he said.
Meanwhile, Zubiri admired the style of leadership of Governor Pineda which he describes is “less talk, more action.”
He cited various programs and infrastructure projects that were delivered within her first two years in office.
“Ang galing ni Governor Nanay Pineda,” Zubiri stressed.
