CAMP OLIVAS -- Two Russian diplomats fell victims to the Salisi Gang while taking their lunch at a McDonald’s chain at the Lakeshore Business Center in Barangay Panipuan, Mexico town last Tuesday.
Andrey Sapzhikov, 51, and wife Elena, presently residing in Laguna Towers, Makati City, were reportedly taking their lunch at the food chain when the incident happened.
While having their lunch, two unidentified men approached the couple and asked them if they owned a Toyota Revo, the plate number of which was listed on a piece of paper.
Afterwards, the suspects hurriedly left, police said.
Elena noticed that her shoulder bag, which was placed in a chair next to her, was already missing. The couple believed it was taken by the two unidentified men.
Police said the bag contained P8,000 in cash, a Sony Ericsson cellular phone, medicines and cosmetics amounting to $200.
The victims immediately reported the incident to the duty guard. However, the suspects were nowhere to be found. (Ric Sapnu)
