Carjack group victimizes trader

CAMP OLIVAS -- The notorious Bukas Kotse Gang carjacking group has reportedly victimized a businessman who parked his car in front of Motorista Store at Villa Victoria, Barangay Dolores, City of San Fernando, Monday.
Mario Bautista, 63, a businessman and a resident of Dolores Homesite, said his black Toyota Hi-Lux with license plate number (WEH-252) was stolen around 6:45 p.m.
Baustista went to the Dolores Church and when he came back around 8 p.m., he was surprised that the left door of the vehicle was open.
The victim discovered that his caliber .40 pistol, undetermined cash money, assorted jewelry worth P250,000, three cellphones, a gold weighing scale, diamond tester, Philip Stein watch worth P40,000, and hi-end bags were stolen.
Police failed to see any signs of forced entry to the said vehicle.
Bautista told policemen that he was not sure whether he locked his car or not.
Meanwhile on the same day, a computer shop in Barangay San Roque Dau, Lubao, Pampanga was burglarized by unidentified men.
Jevenil Cabrera, 29, owner of the computer shop, told police that at least 15 CPUs and three monitors worth P214,500 were stolen by the suspects.
The suspects forcibly destroyed the padlock of the shop around 4:30 a.m.
Witnesses told police they noticed a gray pick-up truck in front of the shop and after several minutes the vehicle left the area. (Ric Sapnu)
