Japanese killed in accident

CAMP OLIVAS - A Japanese national died after accidentally falling from the 9th floor of a building located along Recto Highway inside Clark Freeport on Monday.
A belated report here by Senior Superintendent Jose Hidalgo, officer-in-charge of the Angeles City police, identified the victim as Harno Tanaka, 61, Japanese national and vice president of SNEXT company located inside the Clark Freeport.
Hidalgo said in his report that Tanaka was cleaning his room windows when he slipped and fell nine floors down.
Tanaka is now billeted at Room 907 of the Dong Hwang Offices, Tower 2.
A security detailed at Tower 2 told police that he heard something fall and when he verified it, he saw Tanaka already dead.
Scene of the Crime Operatives headed by Chief Inspector Ricardo Laming found a note written in Japanese which says that the victim was scheduled to clean his room that fateful day.
SNEXT manufactures speakers, headphones and earphones, the report said.
Hidalgo said there was no foul play behind the incident. (Ric Sapnu)
