Council approves Collective Negotiation Agreement

THE City Council of Angeles approved a resolution supporting the Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) of the City Government and the Association of Government Employees for a New and Dynamic Angeles City (Agenda).
Councilor Jesus Sangil said the City Government and Agenda has a standing CNA effective for three years starting May 11, 2011.
The CNA between Angeles City and Agenda provides the grant of CNA incentives to city employees.
Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Budget Circular No. 2012-4, dated December 7,2012, sets Guidelines on the Grant of CNA incentive for 2012.
The DBM Budget Circular provides that the CNA incentive for 2012 shall not exceed P25,000 per qualified employee, according to Sangil.
Sangil said the resolution was unanimously approved by members of the City Council last Tuesday.
Sangil thanked his colleagues in the Council for supporting the approval of the resolution he authored together with Councilors Arvin Suller and Dan Lacson.
Other members of the City Council who supported the passage of the resolution were Councilors Jericho Aguas, Maricel Morales, Alex Indiongco, Brian Nepomuceno, Willie Rivera, Alfie Bonifacio and Edu Pamintuan. (Reynaldo G. Navales)
