Pineda to Panlilio: Show proof

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Vice gubernatorial candidate Dennis Pineda has challenged former governor Eddie Panlilio to provide evidence that he owns the Bonifacio Global City (BGC) batching plant.
Pineda, son of Governor Lilia Pineda, was reacting to a statement made by Panlilio in a television program accusing the young Pineda as manipulator of various construction projects in the Provincial Government.
âMayroong isang kumpanya dito, iyong BGC, pagka pinalabas iyong projects ng kapitolio, halos sila ang nakakuha ng asphalting, cementing, and road construction. Iyong contrata nakukuha nila, (sila) iyong contractor. And these are allegedly link to the family of the Pineda,â Panlilio said.
âDapat tingnan ng mga tao ang control even the projects of the government. May perception because these are very difficult to prove. But may perception ang public dito that kinokontrol nila ang mga projects sa kapitolio,â Panlilio added in his interview in ABS-CBN.
Pineda said he is willing to withdraw his vice gubernatorial bid if Panlilio will be able to produce proof on his claims.
He also told local media that he has neither engaged nor entered into contracts with the Provincial Government.
âWala akong trabahong kinuha sa Capitolio,â he added.
