ANGELES CITY -- Representative Carmelo Lazatin recently led the groundbreaking ceremony for his P1.6 million projects in various villages here.
Lazatin will fund the projects in at least three sitios in Barangay Pulung Maragul. The Lakas-CMD candidate was accompanied by his three would-councilors – Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, lawyer Nino Enriquez and Max Sangil – during the event.
Lazatin said the road projects will be in Airwolf (P590,000) and Ipil-Ipil (P321,000). He added that Sitio Maligaya will get P668,000 for its concrete line canals.
The two-term congressman, which is seeking the mayoralty post here, said the three projects will be started this month.
Lazatin’s supporters said the lawmaker has been consistent in implementing development projects in the city.
“We welcome the projects as it will push progress. It will also make our lives comfortable. We want him back as city mayor so that more meaningful and transparent projects will be done,” said Jaime Corpus, a resident of Sitio Airwolf. (Reynaldo G. Navales)
