CANDABA -- Senatorial candidate Migz Zubiri and Vice President Jejomar Binay over the weekend lauded Governor Lilia Pineda and fourth district congressional aspirant Mayor Jerry “John Lloyd” Pelayo for their programs and concern for Kapampangans.
During the 57th birthday celebration of Pelayo at Ms. Earth Park here, which was jived with the sortie of UNA bets, Zubiri noted that the prime health care program of Capitol headed by Governor Pineda has benefitted thousands of indigent patients that is worthy of emulation.
“It is only here in Pampanga that the no balance billing is being done, courtesy of Governor Pineda. Even the health facilities are first rate and beneficial to Kapampangans. When we get to the Senate, dapat Malacañang na ang gagawa nito,” he said.
For his part, Binay cited Pelayo as a “man of principles and action” that would boost progress and growth in the fourth district towns of Candaba, San Luis, San Simon, Apalit, Macabebe, Masantol, Minalin, and Sto. Tomas.
“Ito po kasing ating birthday celebrator ay hindi lamang action man an may prinsipyo. Basta kanyang ipinangako, kanya itong tutuparin,” said the Vice President.
In response, Pelayo called for unity of leaders in Pampanga in trekking the “Tuwid na Daan.”
“It’s about time that we identify those who are not treading the Tuwin na Daan at itama sila sa tamang landas. Kailangan, pagkakaisa at maging tunay na maka-Pilipino tayo hindi lamang sa Pampanga kundi sa buong bansa,” he said.
