CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Private-sector representatives lauded on Thursday Rep. Oscar Rodriguez (3rd district, Pampanga) for his good governance practices and advocacies to put Pampanga on the development track.
During a simple breakfast birthday celebration at Heroes Hall, businessman Rene Romero said that Rodriguez “opened the doors to the private sector’s participation and governance.”
“He has remained true to his conviction of good governance and this diligence opened the doors for us in the private sector,” he said.
Pampanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. chairman emeritus Levy P. Laus added that the “charming and kind Rodriguez” has put not only the City of San Fernando on the map, but Pampanga and Central Luzon as well.
“For the last nine years Pampanga and Central Luzon have been in the limelight because of his good governance and efforts to boost development.
Rodriguez is a cut above the rest. We believe in you,” said Laus.
Rodriguez, for his part, thanked all Fernandinos, plus Governor Lilia Pineda, for the support accorded him in the last elections until now.
“The governor and I have discussed the path we will take for a more progressive Pampanga. I thank her and her family for their support even if we come from different parties. We have traveled this far with our partners in the private sector and government. I thank all of you as I once more embrace those who are willing to help us,” said Rodriguez.
