Rural banks federation holds relief operation-A A +A

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The Pampanga Federation of Rural Banks, Inc. (PFRB) on September 13 held a relief operation for victims of the recent southwest monsoon and tropical storm Maring in Moras de la Paz, Sto. Tomas town.
The association, as part of its corporate social responsibility program, gave grocery packs to 200 families in the area, and was assisted by the barangay chairman and admin officers of the Sto. Tomas town.
The association is composed of some 20 member-banks servicing the rural areas in Pampanga, namely Banko Nuestra Seńora de Pilar, Bangko San Luis, Bank of Florida, Coop Bank of Pampanga, Crown Bank, GRBank, Guagua Savers Bank, Porac Bank, RB Angeles, RB Apalit, RB Lubao, RB Mabalacat, RB Masantol, RB Mexico, RB San Luis, RB Sasmuan, Safer Bank, Savior Bank, San Bartolome RB, and Zambales RB (an associate member).
Aside from providing deposit and loan products and services in their respective banks, they take time to come together every month to discuss matters that will help their banks serve the people better for the improvement of the countryside economy, with their motto "In Service to the Rural Banking Industry and Community."
