Bishop lauds Lingap Balen founder for noble advocacy-A A +A

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Pampanga Archbishop Paciano Aniceto has lauded Lingap Balen Founder Leira Buan for her advocacy of reaching out to the community and touching the lives of those in need.
Aniceto, who was visited by Buan at the Mother of Good Counsel Seminary here recently, commended her remarkable role in the community by spearheading numerous medical missions for senior citizens and school children in various public elementary schools in the province.
Aniceto urged Buan to carry on with her efforts of promoting health especially among children and extending assistance to the less fortunate.
The Archbishop said the notable contributions of Buan in the community are "truly inspiring" and worth emulating.
Buan has been consistently conducting projects such as the free multivitamin supplementation to help children boost their immune system and prevent them from acquiring common illnesses such as cough and flu.
Hundreds of senior citizens also benefitted from the free eye drops given by Buan to help them maintain good eyesight.
For her part, Buan who celebrated her birthday on September 28, expressed appreciation to Apu Ceto for recognizing her efforts and vowed to remain dedicated to her commitment and advocacy which caters to the welfare of women, youth, senior citizens, health and education.
