Pampanga lawmaker’s office robbed-A A +A

CAMP OLIVAS -- The office of 1st district Representative Joseller "Yeng" Guiao located at Diamond Subdivision in Balibago, Angeles City was ransacked and robbed by still unidentified men during the height of Typhoon Santi on Friday.
In a report here, Senior Superintendent Eden Ugale, Angeles City police director, said the incident was reported by one Charlene Baluyut, 29, district secretary of Guaio.
She told police that she and her other co-workers left the district office around 4:30 p.m. last Friday, with all the doors properly locked.
When they returned for work the following day, they discovered that their desktop computer worth P35,000 and a mini HP laptop worth P30,000 were missing.
A police team was sent to the said office, and found out that the suspects entered by vicinity of the office by climbing over the fence, and used a steel saw to cut the iron bars holding the airconditioning unit.
Ugale said that an operation was has been launched for the recovery of the stolen items and arrest of the suspects. (Ric Sapnu)
