Central Luzon police lights up Christmas Tree of Hope-A A +A

CAMP OLIVAS – The Central Luzon Police Regional Office (PRO), has lit up a "Christmas Tree of Hope" placed a few meters from the administrative building here.
Chief Superintendent Raul Petrasanta, PRO director, led the ceremonial lighting of the Christmas tree.
The 12-foot Christmas tree is decorated with colorful mini-lanterns and bookmarks with names of supporters of “Lingap Tacloban,” as the PRO leadership's gesture of gratitude to their towering and heartfelt support to those who extended aid to the typhoon-stricken province.
Petrasanta said the Christmas Tree of Hope is in line with the various programs of PRO to help the victims of Typhoon Yolanda.
“Our Tree of Hope, the first here in Police Regional Office, is our way to help spread the message that amidst every disaster there is always hope,” he said.
Petrasanta also said the PRO’s Christmas Tree of Hope has reminds them that Christmas is really about love, hope and sharing. (Ric Sapnu)
