Trader, son wounded in Mabalacat robbery-A A +A

MABALACAT CITY -- An owner of a dollar exchange firm here and her son were seriously wounded after a group of armed men assaulted them in front of their residence along Anastacia Street, Samsonville Subdivision, Barangay Dau, Mabalacat City last Sunday.
Lolita Bato Villanueva, 59, was hit on the head while her son Vivencio, 24, sustained gunshot wounds in his mouth, right hand and other body parts.
The victims were about to alight their car at 10 p.m. on Sunday when the four suspects, on board two motorcycles assaulted them.
They were rushed to the Saint Raphael Hospital in this city.
Police said Lolita's handbag, which contained P40,000, is missing.
Chief Inspector Fernando Tolentino, Dau police chief, said they are conducting follow up operation to identify the suspects.
