Police form Regional Advisory Council-A A +A

PRO-Central Luzon Director Raul Petrasanta said the RAC is composed of prominent personalities in the region who took their oath on December 17 at the PRO Post Conference Room.
Governor Wilhelmino Sy-Alvarado of Bulacan was appointed chairman of the RAC, while Napolcom-Central Luzon Director Atty. Manuel L. Pontanal was appointed as vice chairman.
Among the sectoral personalities appointed as members are Jose B. Tan (business sector), Atty. Emmanuel Y. Angeles (Chairman, Angeles University Foundation), Teodoro M. Gatchalian (Tesda Regional Director), Vilma Caluag (President, Mother Teresa of Calcutta Hospital), Dr. Rowena M. Mangubat, M.D. (President, AUF Medical Center), Rev. Msgr. Eugenio Mercado Jr. (Religious Sector) and Ric Sapnu, reporter of Philippine Star/columnist of Sun.Star Pampanga (Media Sector).
Petrasanta said the Regional Advisory Council serves as an advisory body of the PNP and is significantly crucial to the implementation of the PNP Integrated Transformation Program-Performance Governance System.
The institutionalization of Performance Governance System in the PNP is an important undertaking of PNP in the enhancement of its role in the country's Global Competitiveness index, through the vital involvement of the Regional Advisory Council, which aimed at making good governance a shared responsibility between the PNP and the stakeholder, Petrasanta added.
