Clark to host aviation conference-A A +A

CLARK FREEPORT - The Clark Aviation Conference 2014 dubbed “Clark: Reshaping Philippine Aviation – The Aerotropolis Concept” will be held at the Holiday Inn Grand Ballroom on May 16.
The event is in response to the need to develop Clark International Airport into an aviation hub, which will transform Clark Freeport into an aerotropolis, an urban development placing airports in the center with new cities growing around them.
The conference is also aimed to highlight the importance of Clark to local and international development.
The target audience in the event are aircraft manufacturers, aviation and third party service providers, aviation training schools, civil aviation regulators, financiers and investors, global distribution systems, logistics and supply chain, maintenance, repair and operations, suppliers, tourism authorities, travel and hospitalities, and others.
Speakers include Arnel Paciano Casanova, president and CEO of Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA); Felino Palafox Jr., founder and managing partner of Palafox Associate; Rogelio Singson, Secretary of Department of Public Works and Highway; Victor Jose Luciano, president and CEO of Clark International Airport; Dennis Wright, president and CEO of Peregrine Development International; Congressman Yeng Guiao of the first district of Pampanga; and Cayetano Paderanga, former Director-General of National Economic and Development Authority.
Others are yet to confirm.
