CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Social Welfare Secretary Corazon "Dinky" Soliman of the blamed Land Bank of the Philippines (LandBank) over the delay of the monthly cash assistance of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries, many of which are from Central Luzon.

According to Soliman, the funds are intact and deposited directly to automated teller machine (ATM) cards, which were provided by the LandBank to beneficiaries.

"Kailangang singilin ang LandBank dahil sa pagkaka-delay sa release ng cash card o ATM card. One month ang usapan at kailangang maibigay agad ang card, pero mukhang hindi ito natutupad, kaya kailangan na pag-usapan," Soliman said.

She added that she will raise this concern in a meeting with the LandBank executive board this coming week.

Thousands of people from Central Luzon who are beneficiaries of the said program were supposed to have received their cash assistance from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in the last eight months.
