PRO3 non-uniformed man shot to death-A A +A

CAMP OLIVAS -- A non-uniformed personnel (NUP) of the Police Regional Office-3 (PRO3) was gunned down inside a garage in Barangay Sto. Nino, City of San Fernando, Saturday.
In a report here, Superintendent Edilberto Petillano, chief of the City of San Fernando Police, identified the victim as Henry Simpauco, 47, a resident of 1st Street, Philippine National Railways Compound, Sitio 6 of the said barangay and a NUP assigned at the Regional Logistics and Research Development Division at the PRO3 headquarters, here.
The victim was sitting on a wooden chair inside the garage of their ancestral house around 5:40 p.m. when the gunmen approached and shot him several times in the body, said Petillano.
He said Simpauco died on the spot due to severe gunshot wounds.
The killers, who were wearing white t-shirts, with slim built and fair complexion, then fled south on board a red and black motorcycle with unknown plate number.
Scene of the Crime Operatives recovered six spent shells, two deformed fired bullets and one live bullet from a caliber .45 at the crime scene.
Petillano said he has requested the provincial government and the City of Government of San Fernando for CCTV footages for possible identification of the suspects.
He said that a police team is now conducting an investigation on the shooting of Simpauco. (Ric Sapnu)
